Growth prospects for the market of bricks and tiles, construction chemicals, steel and steel products - October 2008

2007 continued to feature good situation in the Polish construction industry, strong economic growth and large number of projects underway. High activity in the construction sector fuelled demand for building materials, both on the part of corporations and individual investors. Last year, some 200,000 building permits were issued and the construction output rose by approx. 20%.
