Centrum Klima moves into new facilities

The company Centrum Klima (CK), which produces and distributes air conditioning and ventilation systems, has been functioning at its new plant in Wieruchow near Warsaw for the last couple of weeks now. The company's senior management expect a boost in revenues, according to Puls Biznesu.
The construction of the factory required outlays of PLN 19.8m (€5m). The cash needed to build and equip the plant came from a share issue, which generated proceeds of PLN 31.5m (€8m). Despite the stoppages caused by the move, the company did not suffer any drop in revenues. In fact, in August they were actually up by several dozen percent compared with the same month of 2009. The company's senior management estimates that in the current year as a whole it will achieve revenues of PLN 78.2m (€19.8m) and a net profit of PLN 8m (€2m).
Furthermore, the company has not abandoned its plans to acquire other companies from the branch. At the present time, CK is eying two firms active in the ventilation systems segment. Talks with one of the target companies have already been concluded, while negotiations with the second continue.
In H1 2010 the company posted a net profit of PLN 3.2m (€812,182) on revenues of PLN 39.1m (€9.9m). This translates into a fall of 5.6% and an improvement of almost 12% year on year, respectively.
