Lokaty Budowlane keen to enter Warsaw Stock Exchange

The construction-developer firm Lokaty Budowlane is carrying out a merger share issue geared towards the owners of Osiedle Poniatowskie, after which it then plans to enter the Warsaw Stock Exchange, according to Puls Biznesu.
At the beginning of April the company will hold a GM, at which a vote will be held on the merger issue as well as on a resolution to increase the company's share capital by approximately PLN 9.5m (€2.4m). The company's authorities may also take advantage of the occasion to decide whether or not to hold a share issue with pre-emptive rights for the company's hitherto shareholders – the offering may be worth as much as PLN 9m (€2.3m). Decisions regarding another issue are to be made in the first half of 2010 when the process of merging Lokaty with Osiedle Poniatowskie will be finalised. The company created as a result of the merger is then expected to make its debut on the Warsaw Stock Exchange at the end of this year.
At the present time LB is working on two investments – a small apartment building in Warsaw and a hotel-conference centre in Swiecice.
