GM TAI: the most building works planned for Mazowieckie

Between January and February 2010, 1,148 new construction projects were registered. This means an increase of over 200 investments relative to the analogous period of the preceding year when the figure had stood at 887, based on data published by Grupa Marketingowa TAI.
In the two months, 46% of announced new investments represented the execution of building structures, 21% - road works, 15% power and energy works, and 11% water and sewage works.
Over the first two months of this year, the largest number of new projects were announced in the voivodships of Mazowieckie (11% of all new investments), Wielkopolskie (9%) and Pomorskie (7%); the least were registered in Swietokrzyskie (3%). Based on the analysed data, Mazowieckie voivodship noted the commencement of the largest number of building structures, while Slaskie region was the leader in the number of newly commenced road construction projects (33 planned investments). A significant number of road construction projects are also planned in Mazowieckie (27 investments) and Malopolskie (26) voivodships, the least such works are planned in Zachodnipomorskie where in the first two months of this year only seven such new investments were announced.
