Nespresso opens store in Hungary
Nespresso, a Swiss distributor of coffee capsules and Nestle machines, has opened in Budapest its first shop in Hungary and the Central and East European region in general. The company has developed an international network of clubs based on its customers, with membership currently standing at more than two million. In 2005, Nespresso noted revenues of CHF 819m, and its growth rate over the last five years exceeded 30%. This year the firm expects revenues to rise to more than CHF 1bn, and to in excess of CHF 2bn by 2010, Vilaggazdasag has reported. | Nespresso is owned by Nestle and is present in more than 35 countries around the world. Nestle has a 16.6% share of the world coffee machine market and enjoys a leading position in Europe.
